  I rented a car in Freeport, IL to drive into Arlington Heights. My plans changed and I called the Freeport, IL location and said I'd like to drop off my car closer to my final destination. Freeport, IL said "No problem, just drop the car off closest to your destination and they will adjust the miles and payment accordingly, it might be a little more or less."
  
  So, I go to the location on Dundee to drop the vehicle off. I have everything out of my vehicle and when I go to the building I see a no gun sign on the door. I carry concealed and since I was about to give them the keys to the vehicle I had no legal place to store my firearm. In an attempt to follow the law and to not enter Enterprise property with a firearm I discreetly got the attention of an employee and told them I have a concealed permit, handed them my keys and said you have it posted so I will not come in. They were not alarmed at the time and they took my keys.
  
  They looked up my vehicle rental and said, "We won't take your vehicle back here, we service the Dodge dealership only. Go to the location on Rand Rd., they will take back your vehicle. So, I go to the location on Rand Rd. and give them my keys. I tell them where I want dropped off, which is only a 10-minute drive away and they tell me “Go back to the Dundee location, they have to take your vehicle back and you have to go to the location closest to where you want dropped off. Because, we do not have a driver to take you there.” They call the Dundee location and I hear them discuss how they need to take my vehicle back. So, I drive back to the Dundee location which was closer to my destination where I wanted to go.
  
  Upon arriving they man in the photo who said he was the manager said, “He didn’t have to do what the Rand location said, that he was the manager and that I needed to drive 30 minutes to my original drop off point because he wasn’t going to waste his time dropping me off or checking in my car”. Words where exchanged about him being rude and I went out to my car to call the corporate Enterprise or the Freeport location where I originally rented because I didn’t want to drive 30 minutes and then end up at a location that still wouldn’t drop me off where I needed to be.
  
  So, while I am in my car calling trying to figure out where to drop off my vehicle the man in the photo calls the local police station and says that I was threatening him with a gun. I had the police show up, take my out of my vehicle, put my hands on my car, pat me down in front of the Enterprise and detain me for 20 minutes in the freezing cold until they determined that I in fact did not threaten anyone and that I was 100% legal and this was just a problem with Enterprise, not a criminal act.
  
  While I was being detained by the police, the manager then decided he could in fact take the vehicle back at his location and I ended up getting a ride home from the Arlington Police department that turned out to be very nice and supportive of people with concealed permits trying to obey the law.
  
  I’ve never had a worse experience with any rental agency, airline, bus company or anyone else. The manager of the location was clearly just lazy and thought he could manipulate the local police, lie and make my day even worse.
